Series Logline:

 

Growing Together Follows a Father and his Son at the same point in their lives, thirty years apart. Watch as the two make the biggest decisions of their respective lives and grow with the ones they choose to love. Comically juxtaposing the ups and downs of life with the cultivation of medical marijuana.

 

 

Pilot Logline:

 

It is a couple of days before Jim and Jeremy graduate; only Jim is chasing an AA degree in 1978 while Jeremy chases a bachelors in 2016. A divorce and change of city spur on an emotional Part 1 of 2 that introduces our flawed main characters and a timeline that relates each individual's decisions in real time.

 

The subject matter of the show highlights the history of marijuana and it's representation in media and evolution throughout the years - Growing Together juxtaposes the lessons life has to offer with the deeper lessons one can learn through the studied cultivation of marijuana. Growing Together is a unique take on the wisdom a father passes down to his children and will be sure to make you both laugh and cry just as the plant would itself...
