I started my career in 2016 as the Professional Assistant to the producer/director team at Status Media & Entertainment, where I spent a little over a year working under Director, Timothy Woodward, and Producer, Lauren DeNormandie learning how to create independent films. Towards the latter half of my time with Status I was promoted to an Assistant Producer position, and at this capacity, produced two feature films with the team before trying my hand at the freelance world.

 

The work that followed came heavily from the Assistant Director department where I spent the following year working freelance as a 2nd AD and 2nd 2nd AD, only to return to my P.A. roots to take a position with the Amazing team at The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Here, I assisted the office and production teams on the Warner Bros Studios lot  before being offered an Executive Assistant position to esteemed Acting Coach, Producer, and Director Michelle Danner, CEO and Majority Owner of the Independent Film Production Company, All In Films.

 

In between my support ingroles, I also spent time working as a Scripted Content Analyst with the International Screenwriter's Association (The ISA), a position I was able to acquire after spending time interning with the scripted development teams at both Toonstar Inc. and Cinelou Films. At Cinelou, I was given an in-depth look at the process and development work required to support scripts with budgets upwards of ten-million dollars. Eddie Murphy’s “Mr. Church” & Robert DeNiro’s “The Comedian” are two of the more notable films I was given a chance to learn the development process from. 

 

Most recently, I supported the Executive Vice President of Programming at Hallmark Media while offering scripted-development support to VP of Programming, Bart Fisher, before a department restructure removed my position from the team.

I currently work as a temporary Executive Assistant to C-Suite leaders in the entertainment industry while pursuing my overall ambitions of becoming a screenwriter.
