Black List Thoughts:
"JB, a consistently hilarious artificial intelligence with a bevy of drone-like bodies and targeted quips. He joins a long line of delightfully sardonic A.I./droid characters and would fit right alongside C3PO or K2SO, lending levity and wry observation to a dystopian world otherwise bereft of optimism. He and Jed enjoy entertaining, playful banter, one better contextualized by the reveal that JB was once Jed's brother. The flesh-and-bloodpost-apocalypse's focus on toxic fungi - a strain run amok by climate change - is a fresh, almost plausible twist on the impetus for the end of the world. Myara and Myla's pollen research hammers this point home organically, indicating mankind's role in its own societal destruction while creating a clear means to eventually combat the rampant infestation. There's a lot of intriguing potential in the robotic augmentation required by the fungi's invasiveness on the human body, raising a number of questions about identity and humanity as more and more of Jed's limbs receive cybernetic implantations. Randall makes for a formidable antagonist goon thanks to his seemingly endless supply of bodies. Many of the script's action sequences entertain in their bluntness and bonkers sci-fi violence, particularly the frequent motorcycle chases and fights."
